DAHI VADA | How to Make Dahi Vada | Food Recipe


DAHI VADA RECIPE 
It's Very Easy To Make at Home. Good Luck 

Hello hi Namaste,
Today I am going to show you how to make Dahi Vada.
It is commonly found in Indian restaurants. But this is an easy recipe which I make myself and I am going to show you an easier method to make.

Ingredients required:- 

  1. Black lentils/black gram beans( peeled off) 
  2. Moong lentils 
  3. Salt 
  4. Red chilli powder 
  5. Fried and grinded cumin 
  6. Curd 

(Note: Black lentils Daal is taken more than Moong daal.)
Both are soaked at least for 6 hours. Black lentils is easily available on market. Peeled off black lentils is also available. But it is not fresh as made in home. METHOD: 

  • Take the soaked Black Lentils and Moong Lentils in the grinder and mix it well until fine products comes out. (Make a thick paste)
  • Then pour the content in a bowl. 
  • Add a pinch of salt and mix it well. 
  • Now fry a pan. Heat some oil on it. 
  • Put the grinded Daals in various small round amounts as shown in video to fry it. 
  • Turn it another side with the help of tongs. This grinded daal should be red colored to be sure that it is cooked well. 
  • After it turns red keep it in a bowl containing sufficient amount of water to cool it down with the help of tongs. Cool it at least for 5 minute. 
  • Now take the bowl of curd. 
  • Add some salt on it. And mix it well. 
  • Then the Grinded Daal which is kept in the water for cooling is taken each in hand. The excess water of the fried grinded daal is squeezed with hand and then it is kept in the curd. 
  • Then it is mixed well with the help of spoon. 
  • Then it is decorated on a plate in a proper way as shown in the video. 
  • Then the fried and grinded cumin is sprinkled from above in the content which gives a delicious fragrance. 
  • Then also add some red chilli powder. 
  • Add some salt if needed. 

Finally Dahi Vada is ready to be served.
