Murai Ko Laddu Puffed Rice Sweet Balls Nepali Food Recipe

Making Murai ko Laddu
Hello hi Namaste
Today I am going to show you how to make Murai ko Laddu.

Ingredients required:- 
  1. 1 bowl molasses sugar 
  2. 4 bowls puffed rice 
  3. 1 spoon ghee.  
Method:: 
  • Take a Pot. Heat it. 
  • Add puffed rice and fry it for a while with the help of spatula. 
  • After frying it for a while pit it on a bowl. 


  • Again take the empty used pot for cooking molasses sugar. 
  • Heat 1 tbsp of ghee on the pot. 
  • Then add 1 bowl of molasses sugar on it. Mix the molasses sugar with the help of a spatula. (Note: It doesn’t take much time to cook molasses sugar. The molasses sugar melts like chocolate soo.) 
  • Then add little amount of water. 
  • After the molasses sugar is cooked, 
  • Add slowly the fried puffed rice. Then mix the puffed rice and molasses sugar well. Each and every puffed rice is properly mixed with molasses sugar. 
  • Let it cool down for a minute. (Note: If laddu made in heated form, then it might burn hand as well as laddu is also not formed properly. Here, I have made 16 Murai ko Laddus. It depends on you on what type of size to make.) 
  • Take sufficient amount of Murai, and make round with the help of both hand as shown in video.
Finally Murai ko Laddu is ready to be served.
