Making Til ko Ladduu,
Hello hi Namaste
Today I am going to show you how to make Til ko Laddu for the Nepali Festival called Maghe Sankranti. This laddu is made on the month of magh.

Ingredients required:- 

  1. Molasses sugar (half bowl) 
  2. White sesame (1 bowl) 
  3. 1 table spoon ghee.  

Method:: 

  • Firstly take a pot. 
  • Fry white sesame on the pot with the help of spatula. (Note: We can use white, brown or black sesame to make Til ko Laddu.) But, today I have taken white sesame for Til ko Laddu. 
  • After frying white sesame for a while, it will start making a sound. 
  • Then put it on a plate. 
  • Now take the same heating empty pot. Then put 1 tbsp of ghee on it. 
  • I have already broken the molasses sugar. So now after heating the ghee, put the molasses sugar on it. It doesn’t take long time to fry molasses sugar. 
  • Fry it well with the spatula until it turns into semi solid form. 
  • Then add small amount of water on it. And mix it well. 
  • Fry it until it forms a small bubble type. 
  • Then add the fried sesame. Mix it well with the molasses sugar with spatula. 
  • Then take it out to make laddu. 

Note: While making round you should wet your hand so that the laddu won’t get sticky on your hand. Also be careful if it is too hot to prevent from burning. 

Make the laddu with your hand by making it round as shown in video.
Finally Til ko Laddu is ready to be served. Thank you. Bye bye.
